2. Wedding talk
Tell me your vision and the experience you want for your guests. We will discuss the venue, flowers, food, and your dress. Most importantly, I’ll discover what is important to you - the experience, memories or emotional moments you want to create for your guests.
3. Custom tasting consultation
Before your consultation, I’ll send you a list of 15 delicious flavours. On your tasting day, I welcome you to my studio, where you will sample your chosen five cake flavours. Think creme brulee, pistachio and lime, gooey caramels, and rum-soaked carrot cake.
I serve your cake using my Grandma’s exquisite crockery on a beautiful antique tablecloth with hand-embroidered damask napkins. Did I tell you I love detail as much as you do?
We may discuss your favourite meals and food memories and how I can weave them into your wedding cake.
We run through possible cake designs, and I use ‘dummy’ cakes to help you picture your final creation. After sampling your selection, you take home any carefully boxed leftovers.
4. The finer details
We’ll talk venue information and contacts, such as your wedding planner, to assist with installing your cake on the big day. Need items such as props and matching favours? I’m happy to take care of that, as well.
I’ll gather contact details for suppliers, such as your florist and stylist, to ensure we collaborate to curate a showstopping and cohesive design feel for your wedding.
5. Cake creation week
I spend between 20 and 50 hours creating a cake, and this is the week where I dedicate myself solely to your vision, baking and decorating your dream cake and building anticipation for the final reveal on your special day.

6. Your wedding or celebration
Sit back and relax. I’ll securely transport your cake to the venue, taking the utmost care to assemble, decorate the cake and surrounds, and add final touches. I present your cake shortly after you say, “I do.”
